I have not updated in a while! I ended up doing another Round this summer since a few pounds had come back on over the course of 6 months or so. I lost the most I had ever lost on that round--24 pounds--and did do the extension to 40 days. I feel great and have been able to maintain that pretty well. Until this last week at Thanksgiving!! I gained almost 20 pounds in a week!!!! Yikes!!! What I love about this program though is how it resets the metabolism and teaches us how to eat well to drop the weight right back off when we falter. In two days I dropped 9 lbs just from doing a steak and apple day and then eating really healthy the next day (a lot of P2 and P3 foods)!! Today I only lost 0.4 lbs but I have no doubt the rest of the 20 lbs will drop off within a week or so. Of course, then it will be Christmas.....haha!

I continue to be amazed by this program. My metabolism is truly reset. I was able to go on three vacations this year, celebrate multiple big events and eat what I wanted on those occasions while maintaining the weight I've lost. I allow myself "cheat" days whenever I want, and I know how to eat to drop any weight I might gain right back off. That to me is a perfect program--who wants to diet for the rest of their lives! It has also taught me to recognize how certain foods make me feel, and helped me to curb bad habits as a result. I feel so much younger, happier and healthier!

Feeling good, finishing up Phase 3A (maintenance) this week and I've been able to stay within the 2 lbs of my final weight (146). Feeling good! Seems easier this time, and definitely easier than Phase 2. Just starting adding strength training and my muscles are sore. But I'm psyched to be toned and fit!

I am almost to the end of Round 3. I just entered my shirt size for the Reset Challenge contest and it was super exhilarating to enter size SMALL!! I haven't been that size since high school! That feels really good. This round was definitely WAY more challenging than the two I did last summer. Not sure why. I was hungry literally ALL the time. The last times the hunger subsided after the first week. Maybe because it's so cold here now--being winter in Chicago--and my body is craving food as warmth? Not sure. I also think cinnamon may be a trigger food for me, causing me to gain. Which is so strange given cinnamon's amazing nutritional attributes. But I went a little crazy with it and was using it almost every day--sometimes multiple times a day--and it seemed to be impacting my weight loss. Still managed to release about 18 pounds, though. Circle weight tomorrow! Aiming for 20 pounds total!!

This round has definitely been very different than my previous two rounds. The weight has come off much more slowly with many days either gaining or plateauing. A little frustrating, but I'm trying to keep faith that my body knows what it is doing! I think what might be causing some of that is cinnamon, of all things! But I still need to test that a bit more and see. I feel great though and, as of today, I am down 17.8 pounds so not too terrible!

I finished Round 2 in August 2021 and was able to stay within 4 pounds of my weight until mid-December. THEN the holidays hit, and our household came down with Covid. I was the only one who didn't get it, but taking care of four family members and prepping for Christmas got me a little stressed. When I'm stressed, I tend to eat junk. So I put on six pounds (over my final weight) and was up to 158. Normally if I gain at all, I can eat healthy for a few days and it drops right off. But I just kept eating and eating! So on 1-15-22 I started Round 3. I intend to do this mainly to flush out the toxins I ate over the holidays, but it would be nice to get closer to my ideal weight of 140-145 as well. I started R3 at 158, gained 8 pounds on fat loading (woah!!) so will aim to lose 26 pounds (166 to 140) on this round. If I get to 145, I'll feel good about that!

I have completed the 30 days of Round 2, and actually extended to 40 days (which is the limit). This morning I got to eat breakfast for the first time in more than five weeks and it was delicious!! I had a 3-egg omelet with cheese, avocado, bacon and onion, and a side of blueberries. Yum! Total weight loss to date is 40 lbs and 40 inches. More exciting is that my BMI went from obese to normal, my visceral fat from 10 to 5, from a size 14 to a size 6, and my metabolic age went from 58 to 52 (I'm 46). My energy is off the charts, and I feel fantastic!

I started Round 2 of this program on 7/17 and so far it's going well! I started at 168 lbs. and gained 6 lbs on the fat load (174). I'm now down to 162 lbs. so 12 lbs. of weigh loss in less than two weeks. That's 30 lbs total from what I weighed when I started Round 1 back in April. Feels so great to have more energy and stamina, and to be able to wear clothes I was never able to fit into before. Even better, my joints are less swollen because there is less inflammation, and my mind is sharper. I also have been sleeping better, even more so than just with the hemp alone (which always helps me). I cannot recommend this program enough! It truly is a game changer. I'd love to share with you how you can do this body transformation program yourself, and even make money doing it!

Day 60 and I have been able to maintain the initial 22 lbs lost PLUS I've lost another 4 pounds and 11 inches! I am eating over 1900 calories/day of normal, regular foods. I feel fantastic and have so much more energy and stamina!

So, 1 week ago was my 1-year anniversary of living the #one80life, and I was so busy all week that I didn't have any time to take pictures or measurements. But today, after church, I had a moment to snap a quick photo in my brand new suit. After 1 year and 1 week on ONE80, I'm weighing in at 159 after starting at 276.3. My heart used to be a ticking time bomb, but now, my health is immensely better. Still, I'm considered 11 lbs. overweight. And I'm not done yet, as Round 5 begins on May 1st in my quest for a visceral fat score of 1.
